1947 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY “WOODY”.
This imposing, head turning car was imported from Arizona in 2006 and is in outstanding condition.
Finished in Palace Brick Brown (possibly the only remaining model in this colour as it was a ‘special’ for the first quarter of 1947 only), with white ash and mahogany panelling to the body and trunk, there is a taupe canvas electrically operated hood that further complements the striking colour. Tan leather bench seats give superb comfort as the 5.3 litre straight eight engine takes you on your way with Fluid Drive automatic gear changes from a column stick that has a high and low position ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey.
The car has featured in several magazines and as well as winning many awards it was also a finalist for The Car of the Year for Classic American magazine at the NEC in 2007.
This is a rare car and the only one of its type in this country.
Offers in the region of £110,000. Northamptonshire.
